Convivium, peninsula table

Convivium is open space, a kitchen as an agile organised area, where being together becomes something to share anew every day, a place where a whole series of concrete actions – storing, preparing, cooking – are turned into rituals and emotions. Aromas in the kitchen tell of familiar tales or distant places, old recipes are handed down and new ones experimented and most importantly, everyone eats together around the big table. Convivium furnishes the walls of a room that becomes warm, welcoming and functional, with island-table in the centre and canopy shelves running round the whole room at picture rail height.

CONVIVIUM WITH PENINSULA TABLE AND WIC

Refined materials, attention to detail, sophisticated colourways and consistency of form: these are the characteristics of a kitchen with a traditional layout but featuring unique, exclusive design elements. Teak adds a fabulous touch: as wall panelling, to highlight the accessorised wall and open wall units and as the main material for the Era big peninsula table. In the centre, the work area: thick marble worktop with recess, elegant Convivium doors and accessorised back panel with Mensolinea Shelf and Mensoluce Shelf. These exclusive Arclinea shelves are a concentrated fusion of different functions, from a system of spotlights to fume extraction through to orderly storage for small everyday objects. On the right, accessorised wall with ovens, refrigerator and pantry, and the Wic corner element, the handy built-in pantry unit.

The Era peninsula table in NTF teak slats, with solid wood edges, the focal socialising point in the room, integrates with the work area: 20 cm thick worktop in polished Portoro marble, 60 tall base units and Convivium Elegant door in black Fenix NTM®.

Teak NTF wood is the main player of this project thanks to original manufacture and use on the vertical wood panelled walls that frame the kitchen, on open wall units, on wall tall units with WIC (Walk-In-Closet), and on Convivium New Professional doors with grooved handle in black PVD, on the big peninsula table. The central work area has a 60 cm wide base unit, Convivium Elegant door in black Fenix NTM®, 20 cm thick worktop in Portoro polished marble with drip guard, back panel with Mensoluce Shelf and Mensolinea Shelf in black anodised aluminium, and built-in 3000K LED lighting.
The WIC (Walk-In-Closet) is a real closet area with space for storage, pantry and laundry and the ‘walk through’ version gives access to more private areas in the home. These photos show the WIC with internal finish in wood and 3000K LED lighting system with motion sensor. On the right, the inward-opening door creates a 11 cm wide broom cupboard.
The back panel is in fabulous, refined polished Portoro marble, as is the 20 cm thick worktop with drip guard, complete with induction hob, black PVD stainless steel sink, sliding walnut wood chopping board and PaperStone® grids. On the wall, open wall units in wood with 3000K LED light and built-in hood. Various functions are concentrated in the exclusive Arclinea Mensoluce Shelf and Mensolinea Shelf in black anodised aluminium on the wall, from dedicated lighting to fume extraction, through to tidy storage of everyday objects. On the marble back panel, the Mensolinea shelf holds the sliding wooden jar holder. Convivium Elegant Door in black Fenix NTM®, black internal drawers with black fronts.
